Choices has the following positions available as of October 7, 2024.

Safe Housing Services Advocate:
The SHS advocate must have a working knowledge of family violence dynamics, safety planning, risk assessments, local community resources, and federal and state laws pertaining to domestic abuse or sexual assault, Family law and the Victim Rights Bill.

This part time position will ensure victims of interpersonal violence and sexual assault receive all the guidance and emotional support needed during the provision of shelter and housing services.
The successful candidate will coordinate community resources to support survivors of interpersonal violence and sexual assault and assist with the implementation of education programs and communication campaigns related to intimate partner violence and sexual assault.
This in person position will assist with assessments with clients to evaluate needs and risks, assist in the implementation and evaluation of service programs that are consistent with evidence-based practices. Must have the ability to provide trauma-informed crisis response to those receiving services from Choices.
